Comparison Eresma bridge Segovia SG-20
This bridge was built due to the high traffic volume in the variation of the SG-20 in the decade of the 2010. this highway is the ring road around the provincial capital, Segovia, Castilla y León, Spain
The peculiarity of this structure lies in its arched geometry with an upper deck, very similar to that of La Casa sobre el Arroyo

the geometry of the arch was achieved by placing 20m long H-33 trusses with double formwork
the main structure of the bridge is made up of 40-metre T-500 towers forming 5 supports that resolve the arch.

Its main material for all its structural elements is reinforced concrete
the bridge is located in a very steep and difficullt to access area, for that reason, the accesses for heavy cranes had to extend their turning radius.
During the construction process while the concrete of the arch was not ready, a temporary auxiliary structure, "cimbra", supported the arch . A similar process is carried out with the horizontal slab using a formwork.
